Pharmacy vaccination is only offered where the pharmacy and the immuniser are locally authorised. In Kenya that sits with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and Ministry of Health circulars in force.
Before any dose we complete a contraindication questionnaire, give you a vaccine information sheet, and capture written consent (self, parent/guardian, or caregiver).
The immuniser records antigen, lot, expiry, route, site, dose number, and their credentials. You stay for 15 minutes of observation — 30 minutes if you have a significant allergy history.
Mild arm soreness and tiredness are common. Breathing difficulty, collapse, or rapidly spreading rash is an emergency — call 999/112.

Your digital certificate appears in the patient portal with lot number and next-due date.
